The San Diego Comic Con is in full swing, and oddly enough this year the jackasses people of the Westboro Baptist Church (best known for their insane, loathsome “God Hates Fags” protests at soldier funerals) protested at SDCC. Thankfully, geeks tend to be a clever sort, and here was the result (pics from io9.com and Comics Alliance):

Also Chris Sims of The Invincible Super Blog and Comics Alliance, two sites of which I highly approve, interviewed DC writer Gail Simone about the protests.

Look at that, a real content update! If you’ll direct your attention to the Web Design section of this site, you’ll notice a couple of updates and additions, namely the new redesign of the Pulse Interactive site and logo, as well as the addition of My Best Friend’s Bakery, which I designed the logo and customization for.

I got picked to go to the Iron Man 2 fan screening at the Alamo Drafthouse at South Lamar tomorrow night! A full week and a half before it opens nationwide!!!
